The upcoming movie is already highly anticipated.
So fans of The Avengers were in for an extra special treat when an extended trailer for the film was shown in an advert break during the Super Bowl.
It was made up of clips of the S.H.I.E.L.D superheroes in action and a sneak peak at some of the film’s impressive special effects.
The Avengers is an upcoming American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures1, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the sixth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is written and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast, which includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson. In The Avengers, Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to save the world from destruction.
The movie stars Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chris Hemsworth reprising his role as Thor, Chris Evans as Captain America and Samuel L Jackson as Fury.
