A 3 metre giant squid, one of the most mysterious and least understood of marine creatures, has been found floating off the south coast of Australia by Daily Telegraph columnist Al McGlashan.

Monster from the deep! Squids are known to grow to this length but rarely seen - so it gave fisherman Al McGlashan a shock to discover this off the coast of New South Wales.
