Hugvie - For Forever Alone People Out There.
The Japanese inventor calls it the Hugvie. Most people would call it just a little bit creepy.
The 'huggable robotic pillow-phone' has its own heartbeat and internal vibrators which match the caller's voice. The vibrations become faster and stronger depending on the pitch and volume of your conversation.
Aimed at 'enhancing' phone conversations between loved ones, the £37 Hugvie has a pocket into which you slot your mobile, turning a weirdly-shaped cushion into a 'Telenoid'.
p/s: Man that was totally damn WEIRD!
